The Trace Main Features
-

Shop
A 40×100 automotive shop with lounge — the heart of The Trace. The shop is a community workspace and hub of the mentorship and skills training programs.
-

Course
Grassroots 1/3 mile drift course with enough width and variation to run some grip laps too.
-

Community
The Trace is designed to serve the community well. The community building serves as indoor meeting space, show parking, as well as admin and counseling offices. The Trace grounds boasts ample parking, a playground, and generous additions of shaded space.
Filling in the Gap:
Home for the enthusiast and driver.
The automotive culture trends are not dominated by "car ownership" but rather "car participation". Cars are the common language used as the passion for connection.
Automotive culture and sport is surging, but not as it has in the past. Instead of traditional racing, drifting is a high participation sport with a lower barrier of entry and is expected to double in growth over the next 8 years into a $1.6 billion industry by 2035.
We are moving into an automotive culture that creates community, not just spectatorship. The Trace is built for these enthusiasts and drivers.

The course is a grassroots build and not a race track. It’s perfect for a good track day in a drift car but not built for side by side racing as that is outside the scope of our mission. Additionally, race tracks require massive investment and may cause community tension in the region we hope to serve.
