THE SHOP

A 40×100 automotive shop and lounge at the heart of The Trace. The shop serves as a community workspace and gathering hub, supporting mentorship, hands-on skills training, and shared automotive experiences.

THE COURSE

A grassroots 1/3-mile drift course designed for both sideways action and grip driving. With plenty of width and varied corners, the course offers a challenging and accessible place to drive, practice, and have fun.

THE COMMUNITY

A dedicated space designed to bring people together. The community building provides indoor meeting space, event parking, and administrative and counseling offices, while the grounds offer a playground and shaded areas for gathering.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We are currently working with those who have a shared vision to aquire property and begin the construction phase. Our focus is staying in middle TN with an emphasis in our location being less than a 40 minute drive from the I-65 and 840 intersection.

  • If you are in need of temporary shop space and a part of the community we’ll help make space available. It is for community personal projects with no work for hire. The shop is also used for community training and skills programs that will be available for sign up as they become available.

  • The course is a grassroots build and not a race track. It’s perfect for a good track day in a drift car but not built for side by side racing as that is outside the scope of our mission. Additionally, race tracks require massive investment and may cause community tension in the region we hope to serve.
